What we make

Six workbooks for jobs where the arithmetic is fiddly and getting it wrong costs money: pricing a cake, budgeting a renovation, settling an estate, running short-term lets, selling digital products, and keeping books for Making Tax Digital. Each is a single .xlsx file between €12 and €15. You pay once and download it straight away.

Alongside them are six free calculators. They answer one question each, run entirely in your browser, and ask for nothing — no email, no account. They exist because a calculator is often all someone needs, and because it is a fairer way to show what the spreadsheets do than a screenshot is.

How the files are built

Every workbook is generated from a script rather than assembled by hand, so the same file can be rebuilt identically and a fix can be applied without a stray cell being missed. Before a template is published, its formulas are recalculated independently in LibreOffice and the results are compared against the expected figures, because a formula that only ever ran in one program is a formula that has not really been tested.

Every file ships with realistic sample data. You can see the mechanics working before you trust them, and each workbook explains how to clear that data when you are ready to use your own.

What that testing cannot cover is your judgement. These are calculation and record-keeping tools, not tax, legal or accounting advice. Where a template refers to HMRC categories, MTD quarters, Schedule E lines or probate steps, it is there to organise your records — rules change and differ by country, so check anything consequential with an accountant, a solicitor or the relevant authority.

What we do not do

• No accounts. There is nothing to sign up for. Buying a file does not create a login.
• No tracking. This site sets no cookies, runs no analytics and loads nothing from a third-party server — no fonts, no scripts, no pixels. The privacy notice gives the detail.
• No subscription. One payment, one file, no renewal and no expiry date.
• No macros and no phoning home. The workbooks are formulas only. Nothing in them connects to the internet.
• No update service. What you download is the file as it stands the day you buy it. If a corrected version is published for a file you already own, email us and we will send it.

How you buy, and who takes the money

Checkout runs on Payhip or Gumroad. On most sales of digital content to consumers they act as merchant of record: they take the payment, handle any VAT or sales tax, and send the receipt — which is why the receipt carries their name rather than ours. The file, the support and the promises made on this site come from the trader named in the terms of sale.

Because the download starts immediately, the 14-day right of withdrawal works differently from a physical purchase. You only give that right up if the checkout actually asked you to and you agreed; if it did not, you keep it. The refund policy sets out exactly when you get your money back, including the cases where we refund beyond what the law requires.

Support

Support is an email address: support@vendwright.com. There is no phone line and no chat widget. Tell us which file you bought and which app you opened it in — Excel, Google Sheets or LibreOffice — and include your order reference if you have one.

If a file is broken, does not open, or is not what the product page described, we fix it or refund you. That is the whole promise, and it is written into the terms rather than left as a slogan.

The name

Vendwright is a trading name: vend, to sell, and -wright, one who builds a thing. Tools for people who sell things. The trader behind it, along with the registration and VAT details, is identified in section 1 of the terms of sale.
